Not just another yarn store!
At, A Hand Spun Yarn, we specialize in heirloom-quality, handcrafted yarns, notions, spinning and fiber arts tools, local, farm-raised fiber, needlework supplies, and boutique hand knits from our family and other Pacific Northwest artists and makers.
Residing in the Entiat Valley, we are a family of skilled artisans with a combined experience of over 20 years in hand spinning and 55 years in design and needlecraft. Our passion is to invent, design, and create quality products that will stand the test of time and keep the traditions of our ancestors and the knowledge that they have passed down over the centuries alive. In this world of mass-manufactured, impersonal shopping, we aspire to bring people and community together through clubs, artisan venues, and furthering education. We care about small-batch, natural, sustainable, quality, handcrafted, conscientiously acquired products. We hand mill and prepare our local farm-sourced fibers with eco-friendly cleaning supplies and traditional, manual hand tools.
By purchasing at A Hand Spun Yarn you are supporting our valley and community by sustaining small farms, family-owned businesses, and Pacific Northwest artisans, all while fueling your fiber passions with heirloom-quality supplies that nourish your soul. For your next project that you want to last through the years, cast on with A Hand Spun Yarn
